All content is on a separate disk (E:) as far as this is possible (unfortunately, some VST plugins leave no choice but install on C:). Here’s the directory structure (Windows 10) I use. I also use VIP by Akai which is a plugin and standalone program, too.
To make things a tad more complex, I’m also using Groove Agent and Halion which are VST plugins for Cubase, but they’re also standalone programs, which allows for organizing instruments just for those plugins/programs (less distraction compared to doing this within Cubase).
